When Ric and Matilda arrive at the secluded beach at Lilac Bay for a romantic picnic, it seems that they couldn’t have picked a better place to escape the rush of life at home. The thing is, Alf’s clearly been sharing his knowledge of local beauty spots with one family member too many; no sooner have the couple set foot onshore than the sound of a rustle in the bushes reveals that they’re not alone.Enter avid ‘bird watchers’ Ross and Morag, whose recent speech about wanting to spend more time with her nephew leaves her powerless to stop the double date that’s inevitably and politely suggested by her other half.
