Carmella says goodbye to Marco Silvani after pledging eternal love to him by his bedside. The tragic loss is felt by all of Ramsay Street as they rally around Carmella in her hour of need.
Marco and Carmella share their dreams of eternal love and get married in hospital. Meanwhile Ned realises the depth of his feelings for Kirsten and Nicola finds an unlikely friend in Toadie.
The survivors are rescued from the pumping station, but Kirsten, Ned and Marco are still missing. Oliver promises Carmella he will find Marco, and Ned finally finds Kirsten very badly injured after risking his own life to save her. One question still remains, who will survive the aftermath of the bushfire?
